How does your puppy reservation process work?

Our reservation process is all layed out for you here on our RESERVING/PICKING YOUR PUP page.

after i bring my puppy home, would I still be able to contact you with questions?

Absolutely! We encourage frequent updates and are available to you for any questions or concerns for the life of your puppy and beyond. CONTACT US anytime via EMAIL, text or call.

Do you have a waiting list for puppies?

Yes. If in fact all of our puppies are reserved at your time of inquiry then you would be placed in line on our waiting list.

do i have to put a deposit down?

Yes we require a $500 deposit to hold on to your puppy. The deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE, but if unforeseen circumstances arise then your deposit can be transferred to a future litter.

Will my puppy be comfortable around kids and other adults in my house?

Your puppy will be coming home to you with plenty of social exposure. Our puppies are handled by ourselves and our 2 children just about nonstop from birth until they go home. After a day or 2 of adjusting, they will do just fine.

What kind of food do I feed my frenchie?

Being that food is such a tough subject and so many people prefer different foods, that question is sometimes hard to answer. Some families prefer raw or home cooked while others are strictly kibble. We recommend feeding a high-quality small breed kibble.

What are your suggestions for dealing with hot weather with French Bulldogs?

With our dogs here at home we are very strict on supervised time outside at all hours, but especially when temperatures reach above 70 degrees. In conjunction with the weather, your dogs level of activity plays a big role in running the risk of overheating.

Will my frenchie be ok with my bigger dogs?

Our frenchies have always lived around bigger dogs and most of our past puppy families have bigger dogs without any issues that we know of.

At what age am I able to bring my puppy home?

Your puppy will be ready to jump into your loving arms in 8-10 weeks. In most cases they go home at 8 weeks, but if  they are on the smaller side we may keep them here for an additional 2 weeks.

Do you offer payment plans or financing?

Absolutely. After being asked many times in the past, we now have a financing option for those who want to add a Frenchie companion to their family without having the big upfront cost. All of the financing information can be found on our FINANCING page. We do not personally offer payment plans.

what forms of payment do you accept for deposits and remaining balance?

Our deposits are paid in the form of CASH, CASHIER’S CHECK and through the ZELLE app. The remaining balance after your deposit is made is due in CASH upon pickup of your puppy or in a CASHIER’S CHECK 10 days prior to your puppy going home.

I'm worried about potty training, is that something my puppy will get while in your care?

Our puppies are started on potty staging areas at 3.5 weeks of age. We’ve had plenty of good feedback that this helps tremendously with continued potty training when the puppies go home.

how do I know if i am getting a healthy puppy?

We do our absolute best to provide everyone with a happy and healthy puppy. That starts with healthy parents, a healthy pregnancy term and the puppies being raised in a whelping area that is cleaned and sanitized multiple times a day. Some ways that we ensure healthy beginnings is worming our mamas/pups, focusing on gut health, mamas eating a high quality balanced diet while pregnant and no use of toxic chemicals.

do you offer any type of health guarantee?

Of course! We offer a 1 year genetic health guarantee which is explained more in depth within the writings of our CONTRACT AGREEMENT.

can french bulldogs swim?

We highly suggest using extreme caution around water although many Frenchies enjoy it. We say this because Frenchies in general are top heavy and can tragically drown if not being held or attended to. PLEASE READ this article for more information on this subject. Can French Bulldogs Swim? – 3 Reasons Why Frenchies Sink (thesmartcanine.com)

will my puppy come with an identifying microchip?

Yes, your puppy will come microchipped if it is a puppy you are bringing home at 8 weeks. If you are purchasing an older puppy (typically between 4-8 months) that we originally planned to keep back for our program, then you would microchip him/her at your initial vet visit.

How does the process of picking a puppy work? is there an order you follow?

Here at SnubNub Frenchies we always reserve the right to first pick of all litters. Following our pick (if we decide to keep back) we will let you know which pick is available depending on litter size and if any other potential puppy family has a deposit in place before yours.

do I need pet insurance?

Yes, per our CONTRACT AGREEMENT we require our puppies to have pet insurance. Each of our puppies go home with a certificate for a 30-day free trial of insurance through Trupanion. You can decide to stick with this company or feel free to find a company that you are more comfortable with. Please feel free to discuss this with us for more info.

Will my puppy come with any essentials?

All of our puppies go home to their new families with a puppy pack including a blanket, some toys, food, treats, and a food bowl.

After my puppy comes home, when should our first vet visit be scheduled?

Per our CONTRACT AGREEMENT your puppy’s first visit to your veterinarian should be scheduled within the FIRST 72 HOURS

Do you offer delivery or shipping services?

Yes, to make your experience with us a little more personal, we can deliver your new puppy to you. This new service we now offer relies heavily on timing and your location. If this is something you are interested in be sure to discuss it with us. We also offer shipping through a flight nanny at an additional cost. Prices on flight nannies varies.

Are all of your pet puppies the same price?

Yes, our pet prices are all the same. We here at SnubNub Frenchies strive to better the breed and therefore our prices aren’t based on a specific color or DNA. We breed STANDARD French Bulldogs and aim to produce quality with each litter, so the structure of a puppy is also a non-factor. We occasionally have older puppies (4-8 months old) that we have kept back for our breeding program and for one reason or another sometimes we decide to rehome them at no fault of their own. These older puppies are sold as pets, but will be sold at a lower price due to their age.

Do you sell puppies with breeding rights?

Our goal is to make sure our puppies are going to a home with a family to live out their best life cuddled up on someone’s couch as a pet. On occasion and with many factors involved, we may sell a puppy with full breeding rights at a higher price. We would have to discuss this process further in person or over the phone as it is not something we do often.

Do you register your puppies through the American Kennel Club (AKC)?

Papers through the American Kennel Club can be provided to the new pet home puppy parents, at their request, AFTER proof of spay or neuter. If a puppy is bought with full rights, AKC papers are provided at the time of pickup.
